Abstract:
The article presents the DSpace platform in the context of the overall design of Web 2.0 developed by numerous representatives and implement solutions that trend. The comparison ranges from the formal discussion of the assumptions DSpace software, by indicating the capabilities of the system until after the presentation of existing repositories and diverse practical solutions. Characterization and delineation of the development prospects of DSpace were also made for the modern user's expectations and tools provided by the popular social networking sites, primarily those that are useful in scientific work and could have continued in their repositories.

Abstract:

Two-dimensional codes, in particular, QR codes ("Quick-Response), they become not only a marketing tool, but can be used in the presentation of scientific sources. Article - in a concise manner - presents the construction and technical assumptions QR codes, in this context, the practical point out how you can prepare for its implementation. There are already examples of the first institutions - mainly libraries, but also other centers that use this technology and expand them. This review is based on the number of electronic sources (blogs, websites, articles). The initial group of possibilities behind the QR codes is outlined in the article, but this is not a finite set. The article shows the potential for a wider range of applications to which the actual border is only a resource of creativity.

Abstract:

Article outlines e-learning as an environment for the development of modern sciences and humanities research centers and interdisciplinary platform for communication between these centers and their staff. Presented was a strong link between the general trend of e-science category działanami Open Access and Open Source. The general idea of e-learning materialized just by increasing the promotion of these two categories. The manual article not only discussed the future of science is built on "open" the foundation, but it is also set to return terźniejszym humanities problems, including related of collecting scientific sources and their funding. E-learning is to provide answers to such problems as the crisis of fair use, price depression, crisis, crisis, magazines or scientific publications. The development also brings problems of licensing - the formal operation of databases and repositories. Outstanding example of a formal arrangement of this problem is - extremely flexible - a collection of Creative Commons licenses. Some centers have already decided to use this license to be able, on the one hand, to share their materials, on the other - to ensure the preservation of copyright and rational use of resources made public. Such a general license or ideological assumptions and only provides top of the road for the development of e-learning. The article discussing the problems extend knowledge and awareness of the "open" solutions with the benefits flowing from this.
